Network Central European Metropolises

In the light of the Central European Metropolis conference in Berlin in June 1992 the European Academy of the Urban Environment is supporting various initiatives in 
 

 The conference brought together municipal decision makers from then five Central European capitals and resulted in the decision to support the co-operation between the cities and to provide a forum of exchange of information, skills and experience in the field of the urban environment. The EA.UE has supported several conferences on different topics of sustainable urban development and provided practical support in the development of concepts, identifying and inviting experts as well as offering workshops facilitators/moderators to maximise the didactic benefits of events held within this network:
